Persuasion through Presentation 

 

To influence requires some form of persuasion.  The ability to deliver a persuasive presentation to internal and external audiences has become a fundamental requirement for all employees. However, it is a commonly know fact that people place fear of public speaking up there with death. Even thought his is accepted to be a totally irrational fear, it still gets in the way of our making presentations that are Clear, Concise and Compelling

Persuasion through Presentation provides the  opportunity to develop and further refine presentation skills.  Participants will become competent in both content development and delivery techniques.  Delivering credible presentations that are Clear, Concise and Compelling will have an immediate impact on the ability to effectively influence and persuade any audience

 

HOW DO WE DO IT?

Programme Structure

The programme is a workshop during which participants will apply the techniques and concepts to prepare for an upcoming future presentation.  The final videotaped presentation will be an abbreviated version of their future presentation. 

In addition, participants will have several videotaping opportunities when they deliver a spontaneous 2-minute presentation and while they practice delivery skills techniques and answering difficult questions.

Persuasion through Presentation is challenging, fun and risk free.  The workshop does not attempt to ‘clone’ participants.  The process simply enhances a presenter’s natural strengths in front of an audience, and helps remove any detracting behaviours that interfere with the message they want to deliver.

Depending on the selected program length, there are a number of  video-taped feedback opportunities.  

	The programme begins  with a spontaneous video taped two-minute presentation to provide a baseline for skill development.
	The second video-taped presentation focuses on verbal and non-verbal delivery skills.
	The third video taping is 5-10 minutes which includes a private one-on-one coaching session with the moderator.
